How many smart alarms can the smart hub support? One smart hub can support up to 16 smart alarms. For managing dozens of smart alarms, you can set up multiple hubs. Pairing multiple GS559A alarms with the same hub enables the linked alarm function, so when one alarm sounds, the others will also activate. However, if you pair GS559A alarms with separate hubs, the linked alarm function will not be available.
Why does the alarm not respond when I simulate smoke for testing? The alarm may not respond if the smoke concentration is below its detection threshold. Simulating smoke can be dangerous and potentially cause a fire. For safety, we recommend using the Test function available in the app to check the alarm's functionality.
How do I set up the HomeKit alarm GS559A? Setup involves both hardware and software installation. We recommend using the Meross app for setup, which provides clear step-by-step instructions, troubleshooting guidance, usage tips, and firmware updates.
